One car, only car, up to $200k

It would have to be some muscle from the 60's.
An early hemi model. Maybe a Coronet, like the one Leno has in his garage.
I figure this way. I drive it very occasionally, like a couple thousand miles per year max. Maintain it meticulously and at the end of the five years resell it, for either a small loss, break even or maybe I get lucky and turn a profit.
That way I still got the old boys 200k!
Invested properly, I retire earlier and in a little more comfort. Hell we are only talking a car.

Do you only drive a couple thousand miles/yr. max? I suspect you didn't comprehend the requirement that it be your ONLY car.

My apologies to Chris S.
I must admit I did not read all 4 pages before I posted.
You do COMPREHEND though that the OP did not specify it had to be your only mode of transportation? (I use my Harley for about 8 months of the year. Put only 3k on the S this year and 5k on the Vette. I could quite easily find alternative transportation for a few k) I guess I just look for the angles a little more than most.
But in the spirit of Quikags clarification...
I could give up the S, I could give up the Vette but there is no way in hell I could ever give up my ride.
I would have to sit and think about this for a while cause I also don't believe I have the fortitude to give up on getting my hands on $200,000!

I clarified to mean ONLY MODE OF TRANSPORTATION. Meaning, you cannot have a truck, you cannot have a motorcycle, you cannot have a train, helicopter, jet, etc.

If it's my only car... Aston Martin DB9.
If I could have another car, my choice would've been a Porsche GT3.
No thought required on either of those choice on my part.

If the GTR Vspec has back seats, also the Ferrari California would be up there as well.
If I could go 2 seater, Viper ACR, C6 Z06 or ZR1, GT3 RS, whatever car is fastest around a road course at the given time of my purchase.
