Hennessey is reportedly quite a crook - just do a search on the Viper forums. No way I'd want to do business w/ him or support his shady business practices.
Any specific link you can provide for us to check out Hennessey's shady business?

Isn't it common net-knowledge?

1. Go to Viper forum
2. Type in "Hennessey"
3.

Or better yet, search for his name in a legal database.

Here's a starting point:
http://forums.corner-carvers.com/showthrea...light=hennessey

Or heck, try this:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sa=X&oi...screwed&spell=1

Well, no shit, but I wanted to know if there were specific threads I could read about him screwing over a customer. Well, thanks for the links anyway.

There are plenty of specific threads w/ specific info, but you're going to have to search for them yourself. It should take less than 5 minutes tops if you have any skillz w/ Google.

Yep, very common knowledge that Hennessey is a crook and has screwed over many people both on the Viper forums and Corvette forums (among many other car forums, SRT, etc.) I'm honestly surprised he has never had the total crap beat of him by a pissed off former customer.

I've got it. I was just too lazy to search.

I thought Hennessey would be a cool guy who modifies cars for fun, but he's modifying people's cars in order to have them return to him to get maintenance done so he can make more money off of people's foolish purchases of his vehicles. That's a shame... It seems common now with tuners, though.

Question, may have been answered but I didn't want to read through four pages worth of stuff, if there is money left over fromt he 200K, can it be applied to the car? Like maitenance, mods, etc.

It would have to be some muscle from the 60's.

An early hemi model. Maybe a Coronet, like the one Leno has in his garage.

I figure this way. I drive it very occasionally, like a couple thousand miles per year max. Maintain it meticulously and at the end of the five years resell it, for either a small loss, break even or maybe I get lucky and turn a profit.

That way I still got the old boys 200k!

Invested properly, I retire earlier and in a little more comfort. Hell we are only talking a car.
