I'd take any car among these;
F430 coupe w/ 6speed manual,
09 ZR1,
Ford GT
Audi R8 (V10)
LP560

R8 then I'd spend the rest on a winter/summer lifted Jeep or truck and a boat that I'd trailer with it:-D

Importd nsx-r. I could definatley deal with driving that everyday, maintenance wouldn't be too bad, and its rarer than pretty much everything listed so far (stateside anyways). honda fanbois ftw

Yeah, but rule #1 says ONLY car for 5 years. Anyone that has a family or plans on starting one could not have ONLY a 2 seater and still function day to day. That is unless you make the wifey take the kids everywhere and you never have to worry about picking up the kids.

The S2000 is great for a sports car that can be daily driven but sooner or later it wears on most people. I had mine for 3 years and it was my DD. I just recently started getting tired of the rough ride and the noise so I picked up a 135i to DD.

It also depends on where you live. Here in Central Oregon our roads suck and any car that has even somewhat of a tight suspension will beat you up if you DD it.

Either way, that is the fun in a thread like this. We all have our own ideas of the perfect car

It's been about 18 months for me, and I'm already dreading another winter with mine. Just too damn small to drive with the top up all the time. There's no better car on nice summer nights, but it's miserable on a rainy day in Chicago traffic.

And it is made all the worse by the 335i coupe I drove recently. Too bad I'm not in a position to buy one, I would've traded the S for it on the spot. I really wish I was able to own a third car, but buying a house recently delayed that for a while. I really just don't enjoy having a convertible as my only car.

I drove 2 M3's (6 sp. and DCT) and two 135i's (6 sp. and auto) this weekend. Let's just say I'm really jonesing for a new car!

I have no idea what I'd pick, but the music of the M3's V8 wailing up to 8400rpm sure makes it tempting to throw common sense out the window.

911 GT3
R8
Gallardo LP560-4

Whichever I like better after a test drive.

Then if it breaks and the repairs are more than I'm willing to spend, I'd just sell it to a junk yard and puchase an S2000 with my own money.
