^^^I already know it's not out yet, but I'm stating a fact. The Ferrari California will definitely be worth over $200K simply because every car manufacturer lists a price that unexpectedly rises as soon as the car is released.

I have an uncle who's worth $60M but wouldn't give a dime to anyone but his wife and children. And giving to charities? He'd rather sit and watch someone starve than to give a penny to help.

Only car, eh? That means convertible, and not an exotic. I'm thinking one of the following:

-Boxster S (I heard with the DI, it will be 325hp)
-XKR Cab
-SL63 AMG

If I wasn't such a convertible loving homo (or I could keep the S2000,) I'd get a loaded 911S X51, but I hate the 911 in a convertible.

If I sell the S2000 I could easily afford the maintenance on any of the above, and with a set of snow tires they wouldn't be any worse than the S2000 in the Chicago winters.
LOL you said pretty much exactly the same thing as me.

Here's what I wrote:

''Well if it's my only car it HAS to be a convertible. I would go crazy driving a car with a fixed roof during summer as my top is down 100% of the time when it's not raining and not freezing

I would love to say Audi R8 but they haven't made a cab yet....so I'd hesitate between these 2:

1-911 Turbo cabriolet

2- Carrera S convertible with X50 package (381HP)

I would love the power of the turbo but miss the sound of a Carrera S...

There's nothing like a tuned flat 6 car howling around 6000RPMs....With a turbo that ''howl'' is a little silenced...

I would also be very happy with a brand new 2009 Porsche Boxster S. It's expected to get about 315HP which makes things interesting for a 2900 pound roadster.

''

I like how you think things

Sounds like an idiot to me... To make that much and never do anything to help others seems a pitiful waste to me.

It's his money. Just because he's got a lot of it doesn't mean he's obligated to give it to people that don't. You've got a fancy sports car... I don't see you running out to sell it so you can buy a Kia for the less fortunate.

That's the problem with America... they think that the less fortunate are "entitled" to handouts from the rich. That's not the way it should work. If the rich are so inclined to give to charities, then that's great. I respect that and think it's an awesome thing to do. But I'm not going to look down on someone that has earned a lot of money but chooses to keep it all to themselves. Who knows when they may fall on hard times and actually need that cushion. Philanthropy is not compulsory just because you're wealthy.
You're opening a can of worms, but that is the problem with America. The "haves" are assholes who don't deserve all that money even if they earned it, and the "have nots" feel entitled to a handout because it's just not fair.

Wow!

I can only imagine why he feels as he does...

So you figure the family and others are entitled to it?

Make your own 60mil and quit whining. Most people with a relative like this look at it as a shining example of what a person can accomplish.

I'm sending this into "Springer."
