the answer to this question is definitely to buy an 01 TT for about 80 grand. Then you can decide how much you want out of it. For the extra 40k you can have an unbelievable street/track machine with about 600hp, Brembo Le Mans brakes, JRZ coilovers, etc.

well for me if i'm choosing between a Le Mans braking system or a glovebox with my 10-15 grand i choose the brakes

I love the look of the SL55 but the Porsche is my pick.
