The styling is just a mish mash of other vehicles, but the average CRV buyer isn't looking to stand out. They will sell a zillion of these no matter what.

if the gas mileage is decent and they keep the price down i wouldn't mind picking one up as a daily driver.
Same here, but how can I resist buying a Fiji Blue Si instead?

Honda should thank Toyota and the Rav4 for giving them a good kick in the pants. Honda has delivered nicely on the challenge. I wonder when a detuned version of the RDX's engine will be introduced to CRV.
If detuned, you mean no turbo, then yes. I think they both use the same 2.4 liter four, but the RDX has a shorter stroke (2.3 liter) + a turbo. It would be nice if it had a turbo option though...

BMW+Volvo...

I don't like how the windows in the back slope down. It contrasts too much with the upright hatch in the back.

Other than that, eh, ok. Not a fan of CRV's in general.

It comes with a NAV which the RAV 4 doesn't. I hope Honda has a engine that can go head to head with the great V6 in the RAV4, which can beat the mighty FX45 in a strait line.

im seeing a S/C K24a2 from the TSX come into mind. It would produce upwards t 300hp with instant response time. not only that but they would be looking at killer gas savings over the v6, but not sure about those hybrids. they are going to do it in the future for the TSX. comptech S/C and warrenty FTW

RAV4 is faster than an FX45, or you hope Honda makes one that can beat the FX45?

Either way, very doubtful. The new FX45 is putting out 325 hp. Honda won't even match that in the MDX, which is their flagship SUV due out in 2007 (it'll be over 300 hp, but definitely not 325 hp).

Wow, that looks way better than any CRV we've had yet.

Actually, I hope to be able to purchase one when they hit the dealerships.

I sure hope my wife doesn't see that!
She might want to upgrade her 2001.
