Default Official 2016 Honda Civic Coupe Revealed at Preview Event

Turned out much better than the spy photos IMHO. Amazing anyone makes cars lighter than previous generations anymore. Kudos to Honda.

I drove the 1.5 turbo sedan at my dealership and i was very impressed with the power delivery compared to sluggish previous generation.. Im still not sold on the chrome front eye brow going across the entire front end though..

That front doesn't look good, but the rear is simply dreadful to me. I don't understand why it has to look this overwrought. Those fake plastic diffuser vents are a design crime worth of lashings.

Agreed, the fake diffuser vents look horrible and I'm be embarrassed to drive a car with them. Since when did Honda start stealing styling tips from 90s Ford Mustangs? The chrome looks horrible, the front end still suffers from that overly chunky design of the sedan. And I don't get the styling of a super tiny trunklid. Might as well make both the coupe and sedan hatchbacks, since the small trunk opening will severely cut down on it's utility.

And I'm sorry, but no Honda Civic engine requires dual exhaust

Front is not bad, overall car reminds me of the previous gen V6 Accord coupe. Back is hideous, all over the place with that design. Nice to see a turbo offering for some good low end torque on an economy car.

Interesting note that they added 5 inches of legroom to the rear seats. That's insane for a coupe (or any car, really)!

I'm "meh" on the looks at this point - it's interesting but I'd have to see in person how it all works together.

I heard it was lighter than last gen. That's cool.

To me it looks like they tried to hard on the rear end, but other than that, upgrade the wheels and it at least looks decent.
