lets see:
its 8 cylinders
it doesnt have variable valve timing????
pushrods, how archaic
roller rockers, whats that???
one cam?? how does that work??
no independent rear suspension, does it turn??
the same engine block from 1955, what its not from like a year ago
only revs to 5800 rpm, wait thats where my s2k makes 100rwhp, it must be slow
you can talk about a "timeless design" all you want when in all reality its just a matter of opinion.
I can name 20 cars that look "stunning," want me to? I can name approximately 10 cars that look "timeless", and I will do that for you to. oh, and there are many cars out there right now that can bi tch slap it on a road coarse for a fraction of the price.
congratulations on having an opinion

Place your Camaro next to an NSX and see what a "timeless design" is all about.

I chose the NSX, been a big fan...and although its dated, and its performance isn't spectactular in this day and age, its still very capable in the right hands, and looks stunning. As much as people knock it, it still handles very well, and hell...low 13's isn't slow. (maybe for the price)
The new Boxster is nice, but I'm guessing it'll become common...and the C6, well I'd love one of those too...just not as much as an 02 + NSX

Ewe! The Camaro is dated and dead! What's more to say?

dated, perhaps, but just because the chassis is old and it has pushrods, and doesnt rev to 15,000 rpm to barely get 200 rwhp, doesnt mean its dated.

With me being a Honda fan since day one my vote goes hands down for the NSX. It is a classic car IMHO I truthfuly think its the best bang for your buck...Where else can you buy a Supercar that can be driven everyday? As far as the 1/4 mile time Car And Driver TV got a 12.9 out of it and thats fast enough for me. I am not a big fan of German cars and I hate DSM cars eventhough I do think Chevy is probably the best DSM car on the road but I still would never buy one. Just my 2 cents
If anyone wants the video you can go to www.cananddriver.com and watch the video just search for the NSX or tell me how to post a video up and I will.
