It is like comparing Cameron Diaz to Angelina Jolie......
Why? I'll gladly take either one of them.

Japanese mags have the new Supra pegged at 390ps, so in my opionion the new NSX needs to bang something higher than 400 to even compete.
Maybe someone already answered this, but I don't see why Honda can't just do a V6 with a similar power/liter ratio as the S2000. Get a 3.5L to push out 120/L and you've got 420hp already, which is not "Ultra High Performance" compared to modern day 500hp+ super sedans, but atleast it's a start. And if they can manage a chassie of 2900lbs, then it would fly.
So since everyone is throwing out their guestimate/wish list, here goes mine.
3 Stage VTEC Hybrid
3.5L V6 420 HP, 320ft/lb. Gas only.
480HP, 450ft/lb Gas + Electric
sH-AWD
2900lbs

What ever they do, I hope they raise the bar enough so that the S2000 can get a good bump in power sometime in the future. An S2000 with a 300+hp V6 would be pretty nice.

i'd be happy with
3200lb weight
4.0 V8
450 HP
$70K
to compete with 997
Seriously, once it starts nearing $100K.....well I don't know if rich people would plunk down $100K for a Honda and I'd probably be looking at a 997 GT3
