Default NSX news...well......read on

This press release is what people talked about yesterday. Unfortunately, no details for NSX's successor.

Certainly, it doesn't sound like there will be a "new" NSX.

How sad.

You must have missed this line in the first paragraph:

"Honda is currently working on a successor, a new sports car for a new era, which is to incorporate Honda

I don't consider that are "details" of the successor.

As far as Honda is working on a successor..... it is already old news.

I particularly enjoyed Honda's spin on the cancellation... too bad, "a vehicle that has enjoyed considerable popularity" didn't translate into sales in reality.

Well not really because the first reports were that there was going to be a successor, then Honda said there wont be. Now apparently there will be.

Not really, all they're really saying is a successor is coming. C&D had this while ago, but as far as any specific info from Honda, we're out of luck for now.

My post was to address your comment that "Certainly, it doesn't sound like there will be a "new" NSX."

There will be one and it'll be new. Completely new, I imagine, just like the original - new motor, new chassis, possibly a new drivetrain.

According to the press release, "Honda is working on the successor of its NSX.....".

A successor of NSX does not necessary equal to a new NSX. It can be called ASX, 123 or....whatever.

Only a new NSX equals to a new NSX. So far, I have not seen any reference in Honda's press releases mentioning Honda is working on a "New NSX".

I hope I am wrong and you are right though.
