NSX?

Yes, there are faster cars for less money. But, IMO, there is not a more beautiful, more reliable, better built performance car on the market for any price.
I would still kill to own one.

I don't lease cars, it's not in me. However if they sold for around $50-59K around the same price as a M3 I think I might go for the NSX. Sure it's not as fast as a Z06 etc.. But it's about on par with a 911 and it looks great, is well made, comfortable, and will last. I've read about NSXs with 160K+ miles.

I don't really understand why it's still for sale. Even if it's 300/year. I'd assume it costs a lot to pay for the workers and factory to pump out one car a day. It's been done like at Aston Martin and some others, but it doesn't pay.
IMO if I ran the circus, I'd see what would happen if it was sold at $49,999 see if it could sell 3000/year instead of 300/year. I bet it could. On paper for that kind of money it's right next to a M3 and it's below a 911 in price. It's a viable alternative to a C6. Porsche sells probably 6000/year of 911s so it can be done for the right price.
I don't understand at all what's this $799/mo lease? The residual is like $50K (I think) so it's not like any one is going to buy at the end of the lease. The lease will get the car off the lot, but only because it's like it's a $50K lease car.
Chevy with the C5, instead of selling fewer cars at MSRP, it has continued to build 30,000/year and let the price drop to a place where the cars will sell.

The car only exist to say they still make a car like that. People still love the car and admire its looks, they just wouldn't ever buy it at $86k or whatever.
I'd love to have one, but definately not in that price range. A used one in the future hopefully.

yeh but I'm going from marketing and business POV. The reason why Toyota has no sports car yet it is #1 since it focuses its money and resources hybrid, fuel economy, econo cars etc.
