Default NSX 10,000 rpm tachometer photo

www.vtec.net is showing a picture of the interior of the next NSX with a tach that appears to show 10,000 rpm at the far side of the tach.

It doesn't mean the car will rev to 10,000 rpm, only that it wil rev probably within 1,000 rpm of that limit (in my estimation). Most cars only show a maximum of 1,000 rpm past their redline on the tachometer.

They expect high-res pictures later. I'm guessing more likely an 8,500 to 9,000 rpm redline. There seems to be red at the "9" but I can't tell if it's before, at, or just past the "9"...

I think that's 8500. It looks like the red starts before what I assume to be the 9000 mark.

sweet. While I'd kill for a 10k rpm NSX, 8,500 will certainly do.
