Default Noobie question

Hello all,

I was thinking about garaging my s and picking up a bike. I was wondering how the point system works for bikes. Do points from cars carry over? any input would be appreciated. Also, what is a good beginners bike? any advice?

thank you

Point system? Are you talking about tickets/accidents? If so they are assigned to your driver's license and have nothing to do with the vehicle.

+1 take a MSF class. If you have points on your license make sure you get an insurance quote before you choose a bike. It can be a shock to see the cost to insure a typical sport bike for a young single guy with points.

ya, if you get a loan for the bike that requires full coverage insurance your phucked. full coverage on a sportbike where the rider has points is very expensive.

for a bike choice for a starter, go to the cbr (honda) for the mere fact that honda is the best at handling..

w.e u do dont get a suzuki GSX-R

Everyone and there mothers tend to buy that bike

GSX-R's are NOT begginer bikes and there forte' is basically speed, which NOONE should care about.

Honda, Yamaha, or kawasaki
