Nissan salesman said u have to be 25 to sit in 350 Z
I went to the local Nissan dealer today here in wilmington, and the salesman proceeds to show me the S and the 350z for sale side by side.(BTW it is obvious which one has a better appearence the S). I talked to him for a while and he said that the S was a 2001 yada yada yada and then he siad that u had to be 18 to drive it( IM 17). Well seing that we had over $ 60,000 worth of cars present between my highly modded 2002 Eclipse Spyder and my cousins 2003 Mustang GT conv. I was thinking okay if u wanna be a dic. But anyways I then pretended to be moderately interested in the 350Z so I would hear what he had to say. He stated " It's locked U have to be 25 for me to show you that one." Now this just plain pissed me off so I was like I am partial to an S anyway ( which I am) and sid that an S outperforms the 350Z especially the automatic tiptronic or w/e its called that was there. He then said that the Z was more aerodynamic and that it would pull away from an S hard and that an S was slow on the start but was fast on top end. The thing was he was implying the Z was faster up top. I was just like w/e. He then tried to give me some B/S about how the Z was more track ready and the only way u could run an S at a road course was with a full roll cage and other safety mods., but the Z u could drive right off the lot to the road course and do some laps. I left somewhat disgusted and trying not to insult a man who was my elder and much older than me. I just walked off and shook my head. I did however say and S would lap the Z on a road course. I liked the S!

Two years ago, while my 4 year old Mustang GT was in for service and I was in the beginning stages of looking for a new ride, I was looking over a Cobra. I think they were about $27,000 at the time. A sales person came out and I told her I was looking for a new car and wanted to test drive one. She told me I'd have to sign paperwork on it first to test drive it because they had too many "kids" coming in just for a joy ride. I was 30 at the time. I declined her generous offer.

That being 25 years old just to sit in it is BS. I was recently at the nissan dealerships and I got to mess around in the 350z on the lot and the 350z convertable in their showroom.
