And this ain't going to help them one bit...
Toyota and Honda, which both have gas-electric hybrids going on sale this year, are better positioned to boost sales when the recovery kicks in, he said. Nissan does not have a comparable hybrid model.

I think they will be ok as long as gas stays cheap. I really like the new maxima for some reason. Someone who parks next to me at work has one and it looks sharp. I would not pay what Nissan says it is worth, but it is a nice looking car.
I think nissan has to pay royalties for the technology in the Altima Hybrid to Toyota????

Well they got lots of heavy fast and expensive ones that get 18-20 mpg.
I took a Max 3.5 SV out for a test drive last Saturday, just amazing, what a great ride.
And there is not a day that goes buy when I release the 400 ft-lbs of torque under my right foot in the Titan that I don't
I'm looking forward to my upcoming 370 Z test drive...

Thats one of the reasons I'm content with my s2k over the 370Z. Most rags were getting 18mpg. I average 25-27ish regularly in my S. I guess I'm screwed since I dont want a sports car that gets worse than that.

yeah I know, because gas prices will never go back up. it's scientifically impossible.
