I have thought of that since the get go. Still might be better to do the conversion of engine rather than Turbo or SC the VQ35.

If priced at $40K, it could be competitive.

My biggest concern for Nissan is what are they going to do with the rest of the models. The 3.5, 4.5 and 2.5 engines will get overtaken by its competitors in the next few years... I wonder what direction, styling, and approach they will take.

A 350Z already has 92% of the horsepower of a 911. If they're truly "Porsche hunting," wouldn't it be a better use of their time to focus on other factors of performance?

92% of the horsepower is still slower... IMHO, it is about damn time we got a V8 in a japanese sports coupe again. Silly that it took so damn long to do to the 350Z.

Unfortunately, it still looks like a 350z.
