Leftlane News - 350Z GT-S

Looks interesting, wonder if it will make it to the US. 0-60 in 4.8 seconds and the blower is supposed to have an on/off switch???

With the cost probably $40k+ real-world, I'd take a new discounted C6 all day long.

The 350Z needs a diet more than it needs new power.

I agree with you on that one. I want a Shelby GT500 but I can't help thinking that at 43k (if you can find one with out an ADM) I could have a brand new C6.

On/off switch is impossible, imo, since S/C is belt-driven. How do they turn that off? Besides, can't you just buy a regular Z and slap on a turbo or s/c for much less than that price?

an aftermarket FI vehicle will never be as reliable as a factory FI vehicle.

No doubt. My old C32 AMG had a clutch on the supercharger.

I don't think it's impossible doesn't Blitz make a supercharger for Scion's that has different settings with the turn of a switch?

Isn't $40k pushing into the old RX-7 FD3S territory (according to inflation)? As I recall, that's why the RX-7 sold poorly in America. Maybe in this day and age of wear/driving your bank account, the car will sell well.
