A Nice Problem To Have
I've been looking at cars for about a month ago and narrowed it down to 3 after an M3 test drive today:
09-10 C63
07-08 E63
06 CLS 55
Here's what has me torn:
The C63 is the newest, quickest, and IMO best driving of them all. However, the interior is terrible. I know it will probably end up bugging me later on down the line. Half of the ones I've seen don't even have real leather. It isn't a big deal now but I have the sneaking suspicion it would start to really bug me as the novelty of the "new car" wore off. Also, these cars are incredibly expensive for the "entry level" MB. I'm talking 70+ out the door for a new one. I'm looking at 08's and 09's in the 50's still.
The E63 seems to be the most practical and the best deal. Slightly larger, far better equipped, and it will even cost less when it's all said and done. That being said, this is also the most boring in the looks department and has a much softer feel on the road. I drove one with the new tranny and it was incredible but the price is out of my league and the new front bumper looks TERRIBLE IMO. As a side note, I'm looking at cars that stickered over 100k new that are selling in the low/mid 40's.
The CLS55 is the sexiest of the three but also a previous generation. The interior of this car is light years ahead of the others, it has ample space, and the overall quality of the car seems to be a grade above the others. That being said, it does not have the angry exhaust note that I'm in love with and the car will essentially be five years old.
So, what should I do?? Is there another car out there that I should be considering? I was looking at the S4 and M3's but after test drives, I crossed them off the list.

Honestly, I dont have much input to give you except for the things that I have read and seen (no first hand experience). On that note have you tried the IS-F? But I am also curious what turned you off about the M3 and S4?

C63 if it was me. And who cares about leather seats? If it was up to me I'd get cloth seats on all my cars.
