I like the wheels. I also think the Boxter looks really nice in that silver, but I prefer the reddish interior to the black one. The rest...well...if he likes it I'm happy for him.
As for me, I would actually refuse that car if you gave it to me.

that boxster is hideous - esp. the chrome strip (it's not even straight!); the widebody is way too... yuck. an all-out piece like on DTM cars would look much better, or maybe just a subtle flare like in the Audi RS cars and RENNtech's beasts. the worst part has got to be the "GT3 RS Boxster" license plate thingy - whatever...
but if you're not for a boxster with ricer parts, how about a supra with a 911 turbo-esque whaletail? HINT: check out the supra ahead of the boxster...
