NEXT CAR Z06?
Anyone plan on buying a C6 Z06 this year, or atleast as their next car?
Do any of you S2000 owners also own a Z06. How would you describe the difference in driving, handling, and overall ownership.
I plan on getting a C6 Z06 as soon as they start negotiating.

I have the C6 versus the Z06 (no vert offered). I posted a very lengthy review on the C6 versus the S2000 back in February of this year if you are interested.

I went to a C5 Z06. Might consider a C6 Z06 in two more years. There are plenty of write-ups in our forum records discussing the difference in feel and such.
The S2000 "feels" nimbler and more connected to the road, has a screaming motor with almost enough power, and is a convertible. The shifter is great. The overall design is sexy as hell.
The C5 Z06 is a beast with more power than you need on the street and higher handling limits than the S2000, though feeling more like a large battleship. Lots more room for a big fellow but the seats do not have the lateral support they appear to have. Interior may be less refined but I never figured my S's tunnel carpeting to be some pinnacle of refinement.
I call it a toss-up between the Honda and Chevy dealers I've been to, in terms of who employs more untrained monkeys and how you are treated (poorly).
I miss the convertible top and screaming motor most. I have to ride my motorcycle to feel that or for days when the Z06 is too slow
