Not really.. Toyota is still looking at the possibilities. Might delay it unil the next gen comes out, which might be around 2005? Along with a coupe and convertible model.

To me this is not a very attractive car. They say about 350 hp, but I think the front will be very top heavy switching from a 3.0 V6 to 4.3 liter V8. The BMW goes from a standard 3.0 I6 to the 3.2 I6 adding little weight. The switch, unless it is a drastically lightened design will add substantial weight to this car.

Those are picts of TTE prototype car.

BTW, the 4.3l V-8 engine is about 20lbs. heavier than the 3.0l I-6.

Isn't the IS300 I6 already a Supra NA engine???
Why didn't Lexus simply put int the Supra TT engine?

0-60 in 5.9 sounds pathetic...
