On another note, I actually hope this car is priced $65-70k, so it will stay out the hands of punk kids who will kill themselves and everyone within a 50 yard radius when it wrecks at 200mph.
This kind of performance deserves a somewhat (Chevy level) premium price tag. Any car that can go 200mph stock should cost at least $65k and if the weight is close to or under 3000lbs, then mark it down that it's going to cost a fairly hefty premium over the "base" 400hp C6.

I'm a Corvette hater...

Blue Devil is supposed to be GM's answer to the Ford GT, only better. The rumor that just started coming around was 650hp+, upwards of 800 in some rumors, with a much lighter body. Idea being, it'll be the flagship for GM. Interestingly, this is one rumor that has actually gained credibilty and stuck around. In my opinion, we're gonna see something like that primarily because they don't have another choice.

I'm with Mav, I've never been a Corvette fan.... but the performance on this puppy is undeniable!
This will get me flamed for sure... but has anyone ever made an aftermarket kit for the rear? I love the look of the car except for the abruptly ending tail...

2900lb is NOT what the car is going to weigh. I dont know how this is getting around. More in the region of 3150lbs. Which is still very good.
WHY the hell did they go with the 2v heads is what I want to know, especially when the figging LS2 gets 3v heads.
