new VW GTI
My friend just brought his new VW GTI over the weekend, in United Grey with DSG and WOW I am really impressed with it. Most can be had for invoice or even under invoice, which puts it around the MSRP of the new Civic Si. Compared to the new Si, the GTI simply blows it away in terms of features. Performance is good and the handling is excellent for a FWD. Hardly any understeer and not a lot of body roll.

I really like the car as well. It's probably going to be my wifes new car in a year or so. It's plenty sporty for her, and the interior is a nice place to be.
Here's a link to a thread that has my review of the car in it. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry7063247

That car is an embarassment to the GTI name. A nice car none the less though.
How VW went from very low weight pocket rockets with a hopped up motor to bloated pigs (3200-3600 pounds) is beyond me.
