It looks a lot better, and the price is right, but you get what you pay for. Maybe I'm locked on the old Hyundai image, but I'd have a hard time even thinking about owning one.

I think the evolution happening at Hyundai now is parallel to the evolution that began at Honda in the 70s. They went from being (deservedly) thought of as a crappy little (hippie) car maker to an automotive player by the mid 80s.
BTW, Hyundai owns Kia and, together, they are the 7th in sales in the US (right after Nissan). Worldwide, they sold over 2.5 million cars last year.
No threat to GM yet, though.

Do you guys think Hyundai would offer that good of a warranty if they didn't have some confidence in the quality of their product?
