"What Edmunds.com Says:Toyota could use some more exciting cars in its lineup and a new Supra should do the trick.

What We Know: Lexus has stolen much of Toyota's sportscar thunder with the unveiling of the LF-A concept, but that doesn't mean that a more affordable Supra replacement isn't still in the works. Although it's not likely to share many parts with the more expensive LF-A, Toyota's new sportscar should have plenty of performance thanks to a high powered V6 that will produce at least 300 horsepower. The 2007 Toyota Supra could go on sale as early as 2006. "

Well, it's better looking than any other "next" Supra that has been offered. It could stand to be a bit more dramatic, but it's a good start.

But seriously, how many of these vaporware cars have we seen on these Japanese mags, and nothing ever comes of them? Plenty.

what's even better is if toyota just hold its nuts and come out with a v8 twin turbo. that will be an upgrade from the last supra for sure

is this for real?? toyota's philosophy is world domination through boring passionless high quality cars. ! I doubt they would make a car such as the supra again..

Wouldn't/shouldn't they want to place this car against the 350Z/WRX/EVO/Mustang Cobra? I dont think Toyota will bring this car back at 55k-65k as a Toyota. I know that this price is relative to the last models price adjusted with inflation, but i dont think they will price this car at the pricepoint of a Lexus SC.
