dont do it... especially for 41k. damn man, look at it this way, you can get an 03 s2000, slap a turbo on it w/ some other go fast goodies and bam!... you got yourself a wrx killer that is dead sexy!

A friend of mine just picked up a black one for MSRP at Irvine Subaru. I believe he was either 3rd or 4th on the waiting list. At one point, they had 19 STi's on the lot, but most of them are probably sold by now.

hmmm....the "markup" must be options as Subaru clearly specifies they WILL NOT charge over sticker.....

You should be able to pick up a used E46 M3 for $41K. The STi is an awesome car but I hope that anyone who pays those ADM charges is keeping the car because they'll be in negative equity forever.

Legally Subaru can't force the dealers not to sell for over MSRP. They can highly suggest it, but there's really nothing they can do about it. Dealers wouldn't be doing this if there weren't idiots out there who actually pay over MSRP.
