I much prefer the old (current) SLK which had a ''racy'' front end that ''dipped'' a lot. Looked like a mini-SLR.

This looks like a generic Chrysler.

I'll pass.
Agreed, current model looks like a more coherent design vs this and I rather like it.

I like my parents 08 better, this looks much too cookie cutter for me.

Overall it looks nice, but I can't help but think it looks a little too cadillac like to me in the front. I think the SLK is more of a woman's car, and thus they overdid the front end a little. I guess this looks more masculine, and a bit more like the SL.

It just won't be the 4xx hp that the new one will be making.
Thanks. I forgot to stick "new" in there.

Grafting a new SLS-style front end onto the same old little SLK body just doesn't seem to flow very well at all.

Air scarf is a great feature, surprised nobody else has picked up on it yet.

Audi's got it but they don't have a fancy name for it. It's just a part of their Comfort Package.

I like it, but I like the previous 2 iterations as well. I loved the one I had, it was a great long distance cruiser, highway car, and even daily driver with the metal roof. I think the darker colors will look the best though.

The fender vents though are hideous. Looks like something from a Buick or Caddy and i don't know why these are being put on so many cars.
