you know that looks like a photo-shopped soltice doesn't it? sick, its kind of hard to make another S because the suspension has been made so well. creating something like a v6 s would throw balance out of wack.....we got a good thing going, why change, possibly go the root of factory turbo?

Actually I hear they are going to just drop the S2000 and replace it with a Crossover...

See, it crossesover pickup and sportscar.

To a degree, it's got that bright colored windshield surround theme that's for sure...

YUCK is right!

That doesn't look at all like Honda's styling direction, so I'm in doubt.

Talking about the Solstace, if Honda went forward with that concept described, I bet this think could kick the new S's butt...

This car sucks. It will never be made.
The Miata massively outsells the S2000, as will the Solstice, I imagine. Perhaps Honda has come to the very reasonable conclusion that they should build a car that's less expensive and appeals to a broader set of people than the S2000. Just because the spec sheet doesn't quite match the S2000's doesn't mean it couldn't be a great car.

Agreed, but it will bring in the type of audience that requires an automatic tranny, and for someone like me, bringing the S2000 down to that level is just flat out wrong...
