I have always loved the NSX. I did consider buying a used one about 5 - 5 years ago but the maintenance cost seemed a little high for me.

I am the only one catching this?
You want to buy an NSX but you can't afford the maintenance costs?!

Give me a little respect. I have been here for 8 years. It is the nature of the car boards to discuss what is supposed to be out. We didnt know sure until last year about the Nissan Specs and the concept car has already been created by Honda.
It is no stretch to compare the two concept cars even if the Nissan is going to be released.
I think it is interesting assuming this is accurate that we have two different car makers going for a different approach. The highly compressed v6 with a twin turbo and the V10.
It is not as if Honda has not relesed any info about the concept car and the specs. It is the new NSX and it will have a V-10 and it will be over 100 grand.

Respect?! - I guess that went out the window when all the folks on this thread started laughing at your comments. You might have been here for 8 years, but you didnt manage to pick up anything did you?
The ONLY thing ANYONE knows about this NSX is:
- SH-AWD (has been reported by Acura reps)
- V10 (reported by Fukui-san)
Please show me an OFFICIAL statement from Honda saying that the price of the car will be in excess of 100k.
What am I thinking - someone who posts this kind of thread doesn't argue with facts and numbers but speculation and BS. Carry on - what a waste of server space.

this thread sucks.
also, everyone keeps talking about the gtr running low 11's. every magazine i have read shows it running a full second slower than that.

^ right. the GTR's appeal isn't in the straight line speed. the 0-60 is impressive but it is all about the launch control and AWD, which, if I owned a GTR, would be used sparingly. There are probably a lot of faster cars on the street.

Check out Top Gear to see what Clarkson has to say. He doesn't really complain about the suspension, but he does state it doesn't feel 'fun to drive'. Although people are saying the suspension is stiff, the GTR has multiple settings for this aswell; not sure how soft 'soft' is though.

From yesterday's Top Gear, when Jeremy drives the GTR on a race track:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=dxt8rZd2vAM
He says:
"When you really get going at this kind of speed, you expect to feel detached from the action, like you're playing a video game just pressing buttons, but it incredibly, it feels mechanical, it feels analog, it feels human. It feels fan-bleeding-tastic."

^+1 yeah, it's the nature of these boards to not discuss vapor-ware and BS? Umm...that's the nature of every message board I've ever been on, auto mobile focused or not.
