It's not all about power guys, if it was the 350z would be a better car than the s2000. Word is the new NSX is going to use lots of CF in the body and chassis, so hopefully it is measureable lighter than the competition.

As for Honda sourcing a v8 from anybody, let alone GM, I'll believe it when I see it. There is an exchange between the two companies, but it's going the other way.

most of the HP estimates are over 300HP. I would guess that its WELL over 300HP. Considering that a 997 will have 350 HP. I am confident that the NSX will have atleast 350 HP.

So, if its 350+HP, and <3000 lbs, $75K(fingers crossed), AND not fugly. I will definetly consider it.

The 350Z could easily make 300 hp stock...an ECU tweak and they are there. P-Cars and of course the M3 but Honda needs to put something other than a V6 in the NSX. Maybe a 4.0 ltr V8 pushing 400hp in a 2800lb car would be real nice.
