I don't mind the new Supra, so New Z could be promising.

Awesome! Nissan has more or less been irrelevant for some time now. Hopefully they can get it together! I love competition.

That commercial is pathetic. Looks like the old Z from the shadowed shot here. They have laid off 10% of their workforce globally, reduced production capacity by 20%, and former CEO Ghosn says they will be bankrupt by 2022. And this was all pre-COVID. I would say I couldn't care less, but I just bought a GTR and would like to know I can get parts for a while.

Well if in 2022 they are bankrupt, share holders and debtors will be the ones that pay as someone snatches up the assets and restarts the company. We've seen this play out before. No worries

That is just a reflection of the sad state of enthusiast car market now. The fact that a manual is now a marketing term is just sad.

Remember the time when people were more concerned about suspension design, engine design, peak power/torque, and weight?

No no, now, people are cross shopping sports car that starts and ends with "Does it have a manual?"

That's the way it seems online by the media and forums, but isn't the case in reality. There's a reason manufacturers are eliminating the manual and it's because the people that actual open their wallets don't want them.
