Default New Nissan Silvia

CLICK

Although this is pure speculation, it appears that Nissan is developing an all new silvia with a turbo 2 liter 4 cyclinder motor. The car, of course, will be somewhat lightweight and will feature RWD.

Nissan is already on a roll with the GTR, an all-new 350hp Z coming out next year, and a great Infiniti lineup. If this silvia comes out, they'll have a fantastic selection of cars to choose from. As much as I love Honda, I really wish they could follow Nissan's lead and develop a lineup like this. Although I'm excited about Honda's upcoming hybrid lineup (I think the CR-Z could be really nice), I think they need to infuse their lineup with some sports cars like Nissan is doing. And don't even get me started with Acura...

Wow, thats pretty nice. Nissan knows what's up, but the nose looks a little too SLK-ish. Nice to see a strong character line on a Nissan concept.

I believe that picture is purely photoshop so i wouldn't expect the car to look anything like that. but hey, as long as it's decently good looking and relatively lightweight, I'm in.

Kinda looks like an SLK, Altima, SLR rolled into one. It looks nice.

RWD or FWD??? I mean I'm liking the idea of it. I'm sure Honda will come out with something similiar and trounce it with refinement and quality..lol

Seems that mag has been claiming these AE86/Silvia renditions for years.

FWD or RWD they claim from quarter to quarter.... I'm more into spy photos than photoshop mockups.

Good find though... we all know Honda won't show us anything for 10 years, and when they do make a car, they will just bump displacement .2L and let it rot for 8 years.
