didnt realy want to raed it all... but is it just like a new clearcoat kinda thing that protects from the sun' rays n such?

If you actually read the article, you'll see that the paint treatment (which incorporates tiny ceramic particles) has nothing to do with nanotechnology (which refers to tiny machines).

Yeah, I have some of my own ground-breaking nano-technology. I call it hydrogen dioxide. This new technology makes it so much easier to keep your car clean. The compound is made of nanoscopically small particles of hydrogen and oxygen bonded together.

Sigh. "Nano" is simply one of the hot buzwords these days, much like "2000" was a few years ago.
