Interesting to see them going from a V8 to a tri turbo I6.

Also interesting to see it have one electric trubo.

Im sure it will be an amazing car but a tri-turbo I6 will never be as bad ass as a V8.

It would be based on the N54/55 engine and use not only two traditional turbochargers but also a third electric turbocharger.

This is great until someone comes out with 4 turbos besides the Veyron. This is kinda like 'Something about Mary and the seven minute abs video.

They'll never do tri-turbo. It's unnecessarily complicated and expensive and it's not like you really get much more from them than a twin setup.. Twin-turbo will be the standard, if anything.

Possibly to aid low end as it would spool asap, then turn off when switching over to the 1st turbo.

Or both initial and electric start off, then bringing on the 2nd mechanical turbo (ala Supra) at a certain rpm/load/speed whatever.

The nice thing is, they can buy the third turbo (the electric one) on Ebay. It'll be cheap to implement!
