looks better than the g35. in a way, that's all that matters, since i'm sure the g35 is the IS350's main competitor.

For sales maybe...For status, I think everyone is still gunning for the 3-series

It's official: if you like the IS, buy the old one!!!! That IS IS a tC.

I'm sorry, but that thing is nothing but an expensive knock off. The old one was VERY nice in my opinion. This one looks to be a step backwards.

hmm... i wonder what our opinions would be of this car a year from now... people are just conservative when it comes to change. that's why nearly every new model is criticized negatively in one way or another. i'm sure if honda decided to redesign the s2000 we'd all hate it too...at least initially... the fact is that if you park the new and old IS side by side, you'll realize that the old IS's design is outdated. that car looks like something from the mid 90's, which actually is around the time when the altezza was designed.

How exactly was it an overpriced car?? Base price was right around that of a 325i but engine displacement and performance were more on par with a 330i for about 10k less.
This car gets no respect from me... Its ridiculous.
Now if they kept this new IS as the same price, then it would gain a lot of respect from me.
