yup, agree with the tC factor. Would rather get the tC w/ the supercharger for $10k less.

That's not bad looking. I'll agree with those who say the rear looks like the new E60 5 series. That's the first thing I thought. The resemblance to the Scion TC is also pretty heavy....I'd still like to see one in person before I make the final judgement.

Yes, a quick glance at the TRD page shows you could get the supercharger and every other go/turn-fast part and still skate away under $21k.

But then you still wouldn't get the leather, wood grain, and of course, the Lexus badge--all things very important to potential IS-owners

when will bmw and audi come out with at least a 3.2L motor for their 3-series and A4 to respond to the torquey 3.5L motors that are so common amongst all other car makers??
Don't look now but VW/Audi has already upped the VR6 to 3.2 litres. I'm pretty sure the new A6 V6 is also that size. It's only a matter of time before the A4 gets the base A6's V6.

As far as a TRD-modified tC being cheaper than an IS, that's not even an apples to apples comparison. Regardless of looks, the tC is still FWD to the IS's RWD. I may not like the new IS, but it'll be a better performer than the tC. The IS is also bigger.

Looks slightly better, but the front is still @$$. Looks like a puppetized/robotized version of the M3's front end.

Supposedly the IS350 won't have a manual tranny... at least not initially. But it is said to have about 315 HP, which is pretty attractive. There will be a volume leader IS250, putting down a little over the 215HP that the current IS300 has. IS250 will also have AWD available from the reports over at Club Lexus.

I think I'd still take a G35 coupe at this point... but would wait to see the car in person, and more pics after the official introduction that will be this week sometime.

Am I the only one who thinks its a TSX clone.

We'll see how it comes out.. the IS300 was an extreemly over priced car... Im thinking this will be the same.

bOmberman......your Tc side by side was.......well..........the bomb.

I would gladly take the exsisting body style w/ a 4.0l V8......I don't want a Tc.........
