Hmm with that weight and the competitors at that weight I guess it wouldn't be that much different.

Infiniti would do well to keep the weight of the G35, whatever form the next one takes, under all of its competitors. I think they could run away with the performance title in this segment if they did.

As far as this new IS goes, I don't like it either. It looks like it fits in with the new family design scheme, but that that doesn't guarantee a happy set of eyes in my book. Maybe it will look better in person, but the front fascia is killing me.

As far as the horsepower spread goes, things are going to get real interesting if the lowest end luxo brand cars are sporting over 300hp. That's great and all, but pretty soon it's going to be hard to market some models for these manufacturers because they provide no power/engine benefit over their cheaper siblings. I guess I, as a potential customer, shouldn't worry so much about it, and leave the worrying to the respective marketing and product planning departments.

Wait a few more months. Acura is planning to put AWD into TL.
Will never happen.
