New Lancer Discussion (Not the EVO, but the Bridge between the Lancer OZ and EVO8)
I was wondering if anyone has any info about the new Lancer that is supposed to fill that gap between that Lancer OZ and the Evo8. I briefly heard about it on TV, but the name is not coming to me. Anyway, it's projected to sell for about 18K, and will be an improvement over the current Lancer OZ Edition, if anyone has more info/pics, feel free to post..

It's called "Ralliart Lancer". It will come with a new facelift, bodykit, wheels, suspension and upgraded motor (I think a 2.4 liter I-4). Good for 170-180hp and should competes with Sentra SE-R and Mazdaspeed Protege.

Why take a chance with a Mitsubishi? You're guaranteed awful resale value and have a good chance of subpar reliability. It's one thing to do it with something that performs like an Evo, but doesn't make sense on something like this where there are plenty of other similar and better alternatives in this price range. One thing is for sure and that is this car will perform nothing like an Evo.

One reason for Mitsu, ZERO-ZERO-ZERO or whatever other outrageous financing scheme they come up with. I see no reason to knock Mitsu quality. My father-in-law had an stealthy reliable Gallant VR4.

The prob with 0-0-0 that that you ar fuked int the car for 6 years even though it is a 5 year finance term. try and trade it in before that point and you had better have a deep pockets, cause its gonna cost you big! It sounds good for marketing though doesn't it.
p.s. I'm an Auto finance manager and I see it every day........
