new honda crossover

I think whole world + dog has already given their opinion of the Crosstour (CT).
Interior would be nice, but fake wood (or even if it's real) is a deal breaker for me.
That exterior is fug. End of. For the $ they want, there are way better options, unless you have a Honda H tattooed somewhere.
Seating arrangement probably great, as back seaters get a better, elevated view.
But personally, I'd stay far, far away - and this is coming from a guy who thinks the Pontiac Aztec isn't all that terrible (exterior - interior was hopeless!)
I think today's Honda is the Nissan of the 90s. Cars dictated by engineers, not designers.

$37k for a loaded awd Crosstour - plus its ugly. I priced one to $43k with some gaudy options! $43k!
Even at $34k for a base awd, who the hell is buying this thing? Go get an Outback, get real awd, a very nice interior, and better cargo and sight lines for $7k less. Even the fwd version costs the same as the awd Subaru...

I am thinking about the Outback myself waiting for my 1st kid to come in the spring.
I am just hoping for the Diesel version to come to the US though. My neighborhood has a few desiel stations, so not too bad considering 40+ mpg... better than the Jetta mpg for an AWD.

Hate teh car, but man Honda's current leather interiors really impress me.
