Why do those all look so CG?
They are all pretty dowdy-looking. The pickup one is downright hilarious. And the Statesman looks like a Lincoln LS mated with an M45...the result of which is akin to a woman with a nice body, but a so-so face.

I actually like the looks. They are pretty angular, much like the new Cadillacs, which works for me. Still a bit "plain Jane", but not bad. I prefer subtle aggression versus overblown curves.
This actually looks a lot like a Lincoln LS, come to think of it.

Maybe we can have a guessing game as to which models GM will pluck and rebadge with '60s and '70s era iconic musclecar names!
It's obvious that the pickup version will be the El Camino SS, but can you guess which one will be the next Chevelle SS or Buick GSX?
Part of me is glad that Oldsmobile is dead so they can't make another travishamockery of the 442. I don't think I ever recovered from the "Quad 442" but the new GTO helped make that look not all that bad.
