$11k price jump. probably due to the ceramic brakes being standard equipment. Anybody know how much is the ceramic brake option on '02-'03's?
7 lb weigh loss. that's nice, but not really substancial. U could get probably get more weight loss by putting the driver on a diet.

the GT2 is a killer in a straight line and on the track, but it wouldn't handle with the CS in the twisties, but kill it on the straghts, but for $190k?? You could get the X50 package on the 911TT and get a Gemballa kit, and smoke them all. But for around taht range, I'd stick with the 360CS, if I want a Lamborghini, I'd go for the Bat.

I'm pretty sure the older GT2's all came with the PCCB's. Hence a part of the price difference with the 911 TT. I'm pretty sure the GT2 would beat the 360 CS ANYWHERE. You guys are saying only in a straightline, but the GT2 was well under 8 min. at Nurburgring, and in the Best Motoring Video kept up with the F50 at Tskuba (only one real straight). It is a pros car definately. I read where something like 40% of all GT2's have been in accidents already. I do agree that $190K+ for this is ridiculous, but I have seen this car go for closer to the $140K-$150K range...which I think is far more acceptable. Looks are subjective. I personally think the GT2 is the most beautiful of all Porsche cars. Not as dramatic as Ferraris, but very aggresive looking nonetheless.
Rai, you can add that the Porsche is easier to fix up. Though I'm not sure how many people can handle a 600-650 hp monster on the track.
