new f12 ferrari

It's like Ferrari has forgotten how to make a light car.
BTW someone said something about a back seat. This car in Ferrari's line up has never had a rear seat.

I'll take the aston martin. for a GT car I would want to be really comfortable whilst hauling ass rather then sitting on leather wrapped pieces of carbon fiber. If I wanted a ferrari why not get a car that looks and screams fast like the 458?

Front engine Ferrari's are typically GT cars, the kind of thing an older guy drives on weekends to golf or coffee or whatever. Or takes on a short vacation through Napa wine country or something. The car is heavy because that makes for a more comfortable drive. If you want a lightweight track monster you would be looking at a mid-engine V8, not a this car.
As far as the actual weight, I've seen numbers from a "dry weight" of ~3300 lbs. to a curb weights from ~3500-3800 lbs. Who knows, really, but I'd guess it's in the 3800 lb. region. Whatever the actual weight, I doubt the quoted "dry weight" of 1525 kg that I've found from various sources. It just seems unlikely that there is 500 lbs. of water and oil. That would be ~60 gallons of fluid.
