The new CL65 looks like a lot of fun. Fool the kids in their Vipers. Wish it came with a manual, but it really doesn't matter. I would need a 30 year note to pay for it anyway.

Come to Plano, see the 19/20 year olds in the Vipers and 996 TTs.

The base price on the car is estimated by Car & Driver to be $180,000. This sounds kind've high considering an equalvalent 55 model (with SC V8) is in the mid 120's. I guess the difference is at that level if you have to ask, you can't afford it. The TT V12 seems to have more upside in modifying the car, they do have SL55's that have already been modded to 550 hp, 600 lb./ft. of torque, but the 65's already have 730+ lb./ft of torque, and in the article they state that with little mods you can get another 150 lb.ft fairly easily. Thoough they said that would probably damage the transmission in short order. Crazy, crazy cars. Not even 275's in the back can hold traction for these cars.

If I remember right it's something like 604 h.p. stock. Nice to have 600 hp, a warranty and a back seat.

275's? Heck, at 730+ ft-lb 335's would cry uncle too!
