Okay, It was these lights, I swear I could not see them light up as well as anyother taillights on the street.

It's an option on the Mini Cooper. Standard on the MCW version, I think.
I don't consider it rice any more than integrated bumpers are rice. It's just a different styling method. <shrug>

I have to say.......some cars do look pretty good with altezza lights......and some just look plain ugly.......which car look good with altezza.........well it depent on your taste.

I think the "round lights" are consider racing like because of the Ferrari. Then they Skyline has round tailight I think everyone else just followed suit.
