Im really looking for RWD. Those are the 2 options ive been given so try to stay in those bounds unless im completely missing something that would be more bad ass lol

Why would he buy a GTI when he has an RSX-S? Too similar of a car.. just with a turbo, and more tq
Obviously I'm biased, but I would certainly get the S2000. 328i, while a nice car, doesn't have enough power and I would get bored with it before even making it home after leaving the dealer lot.
An alternative to the BMW would be an Infiniti G35 sedan. The sticker price is almost identical to the BMW, but it has 76 more ponies and an available 6mt tranny.

[QUOTE=joosyjoos,Apr 25 2007, 03:03 PM]Okay so im in the market for a new car. I currently drive an RSX type S and love it. Im looking for something sporting to say the least but my dad (whos paying for this) wants me to get a sedan to save on insurance. So i have the option of paying my insurance if i get a sports car or just getting a 328i 2007 and not having to pay anything on top of it most likely. Im just not sure if a 328i will have enough power for me and might be a little too civilized lol. Hence why im thinking about the S2000. Im just curious what you incredibly biased guys on a S2000 forum think i

If you don't care about how many people you haul around, start a new thread asking whether you should buy an X5 or an Odyssey.

I LOVE THEM BOTH. But you really have to think what you REALLY want. My dad has an 04 328i conv and i DO NOT have a problem being stuck with that when my car ends up missing. So do you want to drive the car with the 6 smooothest cylinders on the planet? Or the Honda with Ferrari-like thrills?

um both? lol...
Im leaning towards the S2K to be honest... i wonder if it will make it up the driveway though lol.
That and im still having trouble believing im going to take a honda over a BMW lol...
And then theres the whole talking my dad into it factor... oh well ... this wouldnt be any fun if it was cut and dry haha.
Thanks for the input guys... keep it coming if you have anything else to add.

Well lets just put it this way. the 328i's are not slow. I picked up a C&D magazine today. They tested the 328i hardtop convertible against 4 others in its class. It came in 1st of course. The car weighed 3800lbs.
230HP
200LB TORQUE
0-60 came in at about 6.6seconds. Shave off about have second for the hardtop. I mean its only 230hp, but those are purebreds. If thats not quick enough, opt for the nearest competitor. The relentless G. Not as refined, but more bang for ur buck.
