Default New C6 picts and some info

The edges look shaper, but the car looks remarkably similar to the C5. I know they have been using C6's clad in C5 bodies, but you can see some distinguishing lines in these.

They're testing it on a track with the air flow to the radiator completely blocked!

Wow, the best pictures yet. The overall body shape reminds me of the NSX.

It is probably a fairly breathable mesh, or it could be some kind of torture test. See how hot it can run and for how long.

That's funny, because it doesn't look like an NSX to me at all; NSX=Extreme cab forward mid engined, long rear deck with short nose....Corvette=Extreme Cab Back front engined, with short rear deck and long nose.

My .02c

I like the few things i can distinguish, most notably the design of the rear deck and hatch. and if the engine is as potent as people speculate, it may be pretty damned cool.

Very nice, might have some possible s2K owners spending 8 grand more for 160 more horses.

I wish the corvette would become more exotic looking. The c5 looks nice, but holds nothing to the italian or german sports car's looks.

It looks like they were going for that effect, to recall the later C2's. Is it just me or does it look like they've relocated the door locking/release mechanism inside the lower B-pillar? I've always thought that would be a good anti-intrusion measure, but probably hard to get at in the event of a repair...

Overall, I like what I've seen so far. The Corvette continues to be a good looking car. Even the C4 in its time was very striking. People overlook that fact because they are so commonplace, but I really think GM has done a good job with the design of the 'Vette. Now if they would just drop those AC Delco ergonomics, things would really be looking up. Think the C6 will still get 30 mpg hwy? That would be pretty amazing IMO.
