I think AUTOCAR (UK MAg) tested both and found the stick to be faster in the hands of a professional..... i am sure for most of us the smg would be better.... we (us non professionals)would either fluff the launch or spin like mad, especially with the kind of HP that the M3 has.

I know that here in new york you can get a new M3 for msrp. I have a friend who just got a black on black M3 in stick for msrp. I plan on ordering one within the next month from the same dealer and I have already worked out the numbers with them. I too am getting it for msrp. If anyone needs any more info feel free to e-mail me.

You can get them here in Tulsa for MSRP. The name of the dealership is Crown BMW. They are really great to work with. The wait isn't too bad and they were also willing to hunt down a barely used one for me if I wanted one immediately.
