You might want to read through a thread before making yourself look like an idiot again. It will not cost $170k just like a normal M3 doesn't cost $105k (70k Euros converted directly to dollars).
Again, keep dreaming BMW.

Thank you for the explanation of currency conversion Regardless of the dollars or Euros involved, this car would logically be priced at or near the level of a GT-R. Which I am sorry to bring you back to reality...it is still a 3 series. Also, consider the pricing of the Alpina B3 which can be reasonably compared to this vehicle with regard to performance specs.
Again, keep dreaming BMW.

By the way, comparable to the B3? WTF?
The B3 has 360HP and weighs 3461 lbs. It's slower than a stock M3. Hell it barely beats out the 335i (by 15-25HP). How is that comparable?

You can roll your eyes all you want, but your entire previous post was built upon laughing at the idea of a 170k M3. My "explanation of currency conversion" (which really isn't the issue here; it's more about car prices/taxes in different nations/continents, but whatever) kind of made that post pointless. You, like half the people in this thread, jumped on the first number you saw without reading through the thread, and you got called out on it. Get over it.

Yes, most of us would prefer a Porsche over it. I just think people dont realize how much of a beast this car will be. Over 400lb lost AND more power. I cant wait to see the performance specs.

Keep in mind: these rare/special edition/all-out trackster versions of cars from big-name companies (e.g. Porsche GT3 RS, Ferrari Scud, etc.) aren't all about 'bang for the buck.' Sure there are cheaper options to go just as fast (especially when modding is brought into the picture). It's about owning the closest thing in production to a BMW spec'd racecar. There's something special about that. (so long as you have the money...)

So this car is at least 1.5x more than the regular M3? The whiners only would complain that it doesn't perform 1.5x better.
The GT-R Spec V is more than twice the price of a regular one, yet it doesn't perform twice better. Get the point?
