The New Benchmark is Coming: 991 Turbo... Veyron fast?

With the outgoing 997 Turbo S accelerating from 0-60 in 2.6 seconds, the new 991 should be able to hang with a Veyron up to 100km/h. Food for thought
Can't wait for the GT2

Have to be honest - not a fan of the new 991 body style, but the wider hips on the turbo really changes the game. This car is beautiful! To your comment I am very interested to see official numbers as well. Although I don't see how they can much improve on their 0-60 I do think that the higher mph sprints (60-130 range) will be faster.
As a whole I am excited for the automotive industry. It really seems as though since 2000 auto makers have been making huge strides in technology and aerodynamic efficiency (Ex: Enzo vs. LaFerrari). The amount of change in the industry in just the past decade is staggering. To think of where they will be after another 10 years is almost scary.

First of all I think it's absolutely gorgeous, however it needs a regular Carrera front bumper and grill design, the shape of the bumper and grills looks too much like a Cayman.
