They ran out of style, and now trying to use design gimmicks.

I thought the previous TL was a great design.

The front grill makes it look somewhat like a dodo. The front fenders appear to be overdone as well. Aside from that, it's not that bad.

Problem is, from the spy shots, the back end looks VERY blocky.

We'll see what it's like once some full shots of the profile and rear are shown.

It's definitely more aggressive/edgy than the current model but it will definitely push away some buyers (while attracting others that are perhaps more extroverted).

While I don't like all of it, I think it's good that Acura is finally at least taking some styling risks.

ahhhhhhh noooooooooooooooooooo
They took the 1 good looking car out of their lineup and did this to it.

It does look like the bastard child of an RDX and an Altima.

It is like the car has a knob in the front bumper that was turned and everything is being pulled to that centralized point. It looks like a Joan Rivers facelift where they turned the knob in the back of her head a few too many times.

Acura's new slogans:
Yeah they are ugly but you'll buy them anyway.
Consumer Reports says they are okay so you must buy them, you don't have a choice.
Japanese for WTF?
Our styling is garbage but at least we are underpowered.

Seriously what is the upside? Why not buy Infiniti or Lexus instead? At least they don't look like characters from the movie Beetlejuice.

I apologize for hating, but I liked Acura and this new direction is worse than what Bangle did to BMW. Underneath the BMW flame-surfacing was still a driver's car.

Agreed, at least BMW is starting to get away from the truly fugly looking cars (if they recent concepts have been any indication) and Acura seems hotly intent on filling the void for the title of "Ugliest Cars Made"

Some people will buy Honda products no matter what, so I guess they're trying to identify their core buyers.

Acuras really do look ugly these days, and performance wise, they're lackluster as well imo. 310 hp in a $46k sedan? Why not just get an Infiniti M, save $4k, have more power, and have a good looking car to boot?

I will judge when I see the car in person.

I also thought the TSX looked odd in pictures, but
when I saw it on the road that grill didn't look bad at all.
